PaRTS - the next gernation of control solutions
I wanted to start a discussion on the PaRTS submission. The PaRTS system is a reverse RFID type technology which installs the RFID into a lane marker dot or edge marker strip. These allow for an additional telemetry control to be added to System Controllers and Navigation Consoles by having the car read these dots as it travels above them.
The PaRTS system provides for lane alignment as well as contol information from publishing info for the Nav System controller regarding Road maps, services and other valuable assets in driving control operation.
Finally they provide for a better and more reliable nav system for robotics and the ability to create these on the fly as needed (in military operations for instance).
As such PaRTS is a grandslam in that it expands existing GPS-alone based nav systems around the limitations of the L1 GPS system itself and also provides for the ability to control various proceses based on location controls which we now leave because of the issues with GPS and its reliability, especially as evidence laws evolve past "just believe me will ya" that they were built on over the last 200 years or so.
